Heatpipe

How does a heat pipe work? What is heat pipe technology? At the hot interface of a heat pipe a liquid in contact with a thermally conductive solid surface turns into a vapor by absorbing heat from that surface. The vapor then travels along the heat pipe to the cold interface and condenses back into a liquid – releasing the latent heat. The liquid then returns to the hot.

A Heatpipe is a sealed copper tube that is under vacuum, and can transfer heat rapidly away from the source.

The High thermal conductivity enables a heat pipe to transfer, and dissipate heat to a more convenient location through a capillary action. Heat Pipes (water and refrigerant) are the most effective passive method of transferring heat available today. In their simplest form, a sealed tube (usually copper) is evacuated and charged with a working fluid. In the case of Heat Pipes for HVAC purposes, refrigerants such as R134A are currently use. Heat pipes are thermal transfer devices capable of transferring heat and energy several hundred times faster than conventional methods.

A traditional heat pipe is a hollow cylinder filled with a vaporizable liquid. Check our stock now! Wherever air is mechanically supplied and remove there’s an opportunity to install an energy-saving heat pipe.

The principle is simple: the heat pipe extracts heat from the waste air stream and adds it to the incoming stream.

The heat input vaporizes the working fluid in liquid form at the wick surface in the evaporator section. Thanks to a state-of-the-art, on-site testing process in its new heat pipe lab, ATS ensures the reliability and expected thermal performance of all the heat pipes that it offers. Tepelná trubice (anglicky heatpipe , nebo heat pipe ) dokáže přenášet velké tepelné výkony při zachování malého rozdílu teplot (běžně kolem °C). Přenos tepla v ní je založen na odpařování a kondenzaci. Please enter a valid quantity for the highlighted quantity field (s).

The heat pipe is a sealed system containing a liqui which when vaporized transfers heat under isothermal conditions. The temperature of the vapor corresponds to the vapor pressure, and any temperature variation throughout the system is related directly to vapor pressure drop. It can transfer large quantities of heat over a long distance essentially at a constant temperature.

It is typically a sealed copper or aluminum tube containing a wick structure on its inner surface and a small amount of working fluid at its saturation state. A heat pipe is an extremely efficient thermal conductor. At any cross section of the heat pipe, a pressure differential exists between the vapor and liquid phases.
